How Chapter Cay works

What is a Part?

A Part is one installment of a Chapter Cay story. New Parts release weekly, and each Part shows its release date.

What is a Volume?

Ten ordered Parts form one Volume. After Part 10 releases, the Volume completes and later moves to the archive.

What is a Series?

A Series is a collection of related Volumes. A Series purchase includes only the named archived Volumes listed at checkout; future Volumes are not included automatically.

What does the monthly membership include?

The membership renews monthly at $2.99 USD and unlocks released Parts in Volumes that are still in the current catalogue. It does not automatically grant permanent ownership of those Volumes.

What happens if my membership ends?

Subscription-only reading remains available through your paid-through date. After that, access to current membership releases ends. Volumes and Series purchased separately remain in My Library.

How do archive purchases work?

An archived Volume can be purchased for permanent account access at $7.99 USD. A Series containing three or more archived Volumes receives 20% off the included Volumes. Each offer names exactly which Volumes are included.

Can I read anything for free?

Yes. Selected released Parts are marked as free samples and can be read without signing in.

Where can I find my stories?

Sign in and open My Library. Continue reading shows current membership releases, while Yours to keep shows permanent Volume and Series purchases.

How are payments handled?

Chapter Cay uses WooCommerce and PayPal for checkout. PayPal is not connected on staging, and checkout will remain unavailable until sandbox testing is complete.

Which timezone controls release dates?

Release dates use America/New_York (Eastern Time), including daylight saving time.
